Now in its 17th year, the Ottawa Folk Festival is one of Ottawa's most beloved and highly anticipated summer events. Set amidst the natural beauty of Britannia Beach, the festival is a three-day celebration of music, dance, visual arts and community featuring an eclectic mix of musical performances on two evening and five daytime stages, plus participatory music workshops, wellness activities, beer gardens, artisan and craft vendors, special children's and family performances and much, much more.
Bringing together icons such as Kris Kristofferson, Emmylou Harris and John Prine with upstarts like Feist, Rufus Wainwright and Broken Social Scene, the Ottawa Folk Festival presents musical giants alongside rising stars, old favourites, new discoveries, and the best and the brightest from Ottawa's own rich and varied music scene.
