The Ottawa Folk Festival is a register charity with a mandate to celebrate the creativity of musicians, dancers, artisans, and storytellers; to enhance the cultural life of the local community, the city, and the region; to encourage a sense of community in all who participate in shaping the festival, and to challenge ourselves to uphold the values the festival promotes.
