Ndidi Onukwulu has a voice that stops you in your tracks, a voice you can't forget. According to her friend and frequent guitar accompanist, Madagascar Slim: "I really got excited the first time I heard her. That doesn't happen to me often with people's voices. She really does have something special." A blues-oriented singer-songwriter of Nigerian descent, Ndidi was born in British Columbia, left home at an early age to pursue her singing career in New York City, and now makes her home in Toronto. In the recent past, she has won a Maple Blues Award, has been featured several national CBC Radio programs, and has delivered thrilling main stage performances at major festivals across Canada. Known for her high-intensity stage presence, her sense of fun, and her ability to involve the entire audience in the excitement of the moment, Ndidi makes every performance moving and memorable. He has been called a national treasure, a folk hero , one of Canada's best songwriters. An exceptional live performer, he has a special warmth and wit that puts just the right off-beat spin into his concerts. Artist website: www.bobsnider.ca
