We invite you to become a sponsor of the Ottawa Folk Festival. Held every year in mid-August, the Ottawa Folk Festival has been named one of Ontario’s top festivals by Festivals & Events Ontario. Not only will you reach over 20,000 enthusiastic music lovers, you will reach an excellent target market. Annual surveys of the Ottawa Folk Festival audience consistently show them to be a well-educated and high-income group. Featuring top-notch Canadian and international musicians from the folk and roots tradition, the Ottawa Folk Festival is a community-based event. It is run by over 600 volunteers and attended by thousands. The 15th Annual Ottawa Folk Festival will take place from Thursday, August 14 to Sunday, August 17, 2008. The main Festival site is located in beautiful Britannia Park on the banks of the Ottawa River. There will be evening concerts on the outdoor main stage, plus alternative programming inside the Ron Kolbus Lakeside Centre auditorium. On Saturday and Sunday, eight daytime stages offer intimate, interactive sessions in music, dance and spoken word. In addition to the music5l programming, there’s a Family Area, Craft Market, International FoodCourt and much more. The performer line-up for the 14th Annual Ottawa Folk Festival will be announced at the media launch. It would be great to be able to include your name as a sponsor.
